Homemade Dog Food For Pomeranians

But what if... you did it right? What if you did your research? What if you consulted with a vet who's open to the idea of balanced homemade meals? Suddenly, the prospect becomes a lot less scary.

Think about it. You know exactly what's going into your dog's food. No mystery ingredients. No weird preservatives. Just real, whole foods. Chicken, sweet potatoes, maybe a little broccoli. Sounds pretty good, right?

The Pom-Approved Menu

For Mr. Fluffernutter, I started with simple recipes. Boiled chicken breast with cooked rice. Ground turkey with pumpkin puree. He went absolutely bonkers for it. He actually ate! No more dramatic staring contests with his food bowl. It was a miracle.

Of course, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Homemade dog food takes time. It takes effort. And it definitely requires planning. You can't just whip up a batch when you're feeling lazy. Mr. Fluffernutter wouldn't approve, anyway.
