How To Get To Queens Bedchamber Elden Ring

How To Get To Queens Bedchamber Elden Ring

Alright, folks, gather 'round! Let's talk about a bedroom. Not just any bedroom, mind you. We're talking about the Queen's Bedchamber in Elden Ring. Sounds posh, right? Getting there, however, is about as posh as wrestling a rabid badger in a bouncy castle.

Why would you even want to go there, you ask? Well, that's where you find the secret ending involving everyone's favourite doll… er, I mean, Empyrean, Ranni the Witch. You know, the one with four arms and a taste for cosmic horror? Yeah, her. Unlocking that ending is like ordering the spiciest dish on the menu – potentially painful, but ultimately rewarding (and may involve needing to chug a lot of Great Runes afterwards).

Step 1: Get Yourself Invited to the Party (Raya Lucarian Grand Library)

First, you need an invite to the Radagon/Renalla divorce proceedings. I mean, you need to beat Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon, in the Raya Lucarian Grand Library. This is like telling your parents you want to drop out of college and become a professional finger painter – it's going to take some convincing (and probably involve getting hit with some magic).

Renalla isn't terribly difficult, but her first phase involves an army of crawling kids who throw books at you. It’s basically your worst childhood nightmare come to life. Once she’s downed, you’ll need to chat with her to respec. Consider it post-boss therapy… or a chance to redistribute all those points you accidentally put into Strength when you were trying to make a magic build. (We've all been there.)

Step 2: The Ring of Betrothal and the Dark Moon Ring

Next, and this is crucial, you need to get the Ring of Betrothal. This isn't something you can just pick up at your local jeweler (though I bet they'd have some interesting interpretations of Elden Ring-themed engagement rings). You need to venture to the Lake of Rot. Imagine the worst swamp you've ever seen, then add a generous helping of Scarlet Rot. Fun, right?

Defeat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. He’s basically a giant space bug with lasers for eyes and a serious attitude problem. After that, head to the Grand Cloister. There’s a coffin that teleports you to the Moonlight Altar. From there you can find the Cathedral of Manus Celes and get your hands on the Dark Moon Ring.

Step 3: Entering the Queen's Bedchamber (and Dealing with Those Dang Dolls)

Alright, buckle up, because things are about to get weird. Remember Ranni’s doll form we talked about earlier? You have to find her body at the bottom of the Cathedral of Manus Celes, you’ll have to venture to the very bottom of it.

Equip the Dark Moon Ring and interact with Ranni’s doll form. This is like proposing to a mannequin… but with the added bonus of unlocking a secret ending, so who's judging? If you've done everything correctly, Ranni will appear, and after some cryptic dialogue (because apparently, clear communication is a lost art in the Lands Between), she will ask you to become her consort.

Accept her proposal. This is like saying "yes" to a date with someone you only know through their glowing blue astral projection. But hey, no risk, no reward, right? This is where you enter the Queen's Bedchamber.

Step 4: Enjoy the View (and Maybe Start a New Game Plus)

Congratulations! You've made it to the Queen's Bedchamber! There isn't a whole lot to do in the Bedchamber itself once you've triggered Ranni's ending. Mostly, you can just admire the view and reflect on all the questionable life choices that led you to this point. Pat yourself on the back; you are one step closer to seeing a new Elden Ring ending!

You’ll get the Dark Moon Greatsword after the cutscene. It’s great if you're running an Intelligence build. You probably can’t actually sleep in the Queen’s Bedchamber, though. Let's be honest, after all that running around, fighting demigods, and wading through Scarlet Rot, you probably deserve a nice, long nap. Maybe with a cup of tea. Preferably somewhere far, far away from giant space bugs.

So there you have it! Getting to the Queen's Bedchamber is a journey, a bizarre, wonderful, frustrating, and ultimately rewarding journey. Now go forth, Tarnished, and claim your destiny as the Elden Lord... or Ranni's consort. Your choice! Just try not to get Scarlet Rot, okay?
