Does it flicker? Does the car suddenly sound like it’s trying to swallow a bucket of bolts? These are all important clues. We can be the calm car whisperer, not just the frantic driver.

So, the next time that little red battery light illuminates your commute, try not to let your mind immediately jump to the worst-case scenario. Acknowledge its presence. Maybe even offer a playful, "Oh, it's you again." Sometimes, a little bit of calm defiance is all it takes to get you home, at least for one more night.
