Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Season 3

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Season 3

Okay, let's talk about Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Season 3. Remember that show? Dev and Sonakshi were like, the ultimate TV couple, right?

Season 1? Gold. Season 2? Pretty darn good. But Season 3... well, let's just say it stirred up some feelings. Maybe some conflicted feelings.

The Return of Dev and Sonakshi: Was it Needed?

We were all excited when we heard it was coming back. More DevAkshi? Sign us up! We needed to know what happened next. Did their kids turn out alright?

But then... it arrived. And things felt... different. It was like visiting your favorite childhood park and finding they replaced the swings with a weird modern art sculpture.

The "Modern Marriage" Makeover

The core of the show changed. Dev and Sonakshi suddenly seemed to have forgotten everything they learned in the first two seasons. All the character development gone, poof!

Remember how much they valued communication? Apparently, that went out the window with the new script. We went from heart-to-heart to...well, something else.

It felt like they were trying too hard to be "modern." The constant misunderstandings felt forced. I wanted to shake them both sometimes. Get it together, you two!

The Kids: From Cute to... Complicated?

The kids were adorable in the earlier seasons. Shubh was a bundle of joy. Suhana was smart and sassy. But Season 3 aged them up. And added issues.

I get it. Kids have problems. But the way they handled those problems felt...unrealistic? Too dramatic? Maybe it was the writing.

It just felt like the kids were there to create conflict. Instead of being integral parts of the story. It felt less about family bonding, more about manufactured drama.

Ishwari: Still Causing Trouble?

Ah, Ishwari. The ever-present, ever-meddling mother. You gotta love her, right? She was a constant source of amusement and frustration, a walking, talking meme.

In Season 3, she felt... the same. Which, depending on your perspective, could be a good or bad thing. She just kept on meddling into everything like the world depends on her!

Did we really need more of her interfering in Dev and Sonakshi's lives? I'm not sure. Part of me was nostalgic. Part of me wanted her to get her own hobby. Like bird watching!

The "Unpopular" Opinion: It Wasn't All Bad

Okay, I know I'm being harsh. But hear me out. It wasn't all bad. There were moments. Glimmers of the DevAkshi we knew and loved.

The nostalgia factor was definitely there. Seeing Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes back on screen was a treat. Even if the story was a bit wonky.

Plus, some of the supporting characters were still great. They provided comic relief, emotional support, and a much-needed dose of sanity. Maybe a spin-off about them would have been better?

The Verdict: A Mixed Bag

So, was Season 3 a complete disaster? No. Was it as good as the first two seasons? Absolutely not. It was a mixed bag. Filled with some questionable choices.

It felt like they tried too hard to change things. To make it more "relevant." But in doing so, they lost what made the show special. The simplicity. The genuine connection between Dev and Sonakshi.

Ultimately, I'm glad they brought back the show. Even if it didn't live up to expectations. It was nice to see those characters again. It was a chance to revisit that world.

But maybe, just maybe, some things are best left as they are. Some stories are best left unfinished. So we can cherish the good memories. And not be too disappointed by the "modern" sequel.

Maybe the perfect ending was the end of season 2? Just a thought!
