Big on exploration and production, particularly in those famous shale plays that changed the game for US energy independence. They’re like seasoned veterans, always adapting, always digging.

You can’t talk big energy without mentioning the true behemoths, the household names that dabble in everything. Think ExxonMobil and Chevron. While famous for gas stations and oil, don’t be fooled! They are absolutely massive in natural gas too, with operations sprawling globally and at home. Multi-tasking champions, juggling oil, gas, and more, all at incredible scale. Their natural gas output alone is top-tier.

Another major player making big waves is Southwestern Energy. They're another focused gas producer, like EQT, with significant holdings in places like the Appalachian Basin and Haynesville Shale. Experts at getting gas out efficiently, they keep pipelines full and your kettle boiling. Serious about gas, their scale shows it.

And let's not forget Occidental Petroleum, or "Oxy." While well-known for oil, especially in the Permian Basin, their natural gas production is nothing to sneeze at. Another diversified giant, quietly ensuring plenty of fuel for everything from power plants to pizza ovens. Where there’s oil, there’s often gas too, and they're pretty good at getting both.
