Pokemon That Are Easy To Draw

Let's talk Pokemon. Specifically, which ones are actually doable for those of us who can barely draw a stick figure.

Forget elaborate shading and dynamic poses. We're going for simple wins here.

The Round Robin Winners

First up, Voltorb. It's a ball. Seriously, a red ball with eyes.

If you can't draw a circle... well, maybe stick to Pokemon GO. My (probably) unpopular opinion? It's charming in its simplicity.

Then there's Electrode. Another ball! But this time it's upside down! Mind. Blown.

Okay, maybe these are too easy. But hey, points for efficiency, right?

Blob-tastic Buddies

Next, we have Koffing. A floating ball of poison with a skull and crossbones.

It's still mostly a circle, but with a little bit of edgy flair. The fumes are just squiggles. You got this!

Its evolution, Weezing, is just two Koffings stuck together! Double the trouble, but not double the drawing difficulty.

Bonus points for drawing the smaller, angrier Weezing conjoined to the bigger one. You're basically an artist now.

Don't forget the cloud of smog surrounding these guys. This can easily be done with a quick scribbling motion.

Geometric Geniuses

Let's not forget Porygon. A polygonal duck-thing from the early days.

It's basically just a bunch of simple shapes pieced together. A true masterpiece of early CGI representation.

You might need a ruler, but hey, at least it's not organic. Straight lines are your friend.

Its evolutions might look complicated, but each stage are just polygons.

If you can handle a cube, you can handle Porygon2. Trust me.

Seriously Simple Starters (Maybe?)

Okay, this might be controversial, but I think Bulbasaur is relatively easy.

A simple four-legged body, big eyes, and a... well, a bulb on its back. The bulb is just an oval.

Sure, the spots might be tricky, but you can just strategically place them to hide any anatomical... inaccuracies.

Don't even get me started on Charmander. Yes, it has a tail flame.

But the rest of it is just a slightly-more-complicated lizard. Focus on the big eyes and the cute snout. Everything else is secondary.

And the best part? You can always blame any drawing mishaps on the "artistic interpretation".

The Honorable Mentions

Magnemite. Floating metal ball with screws and a magnet. Easy peasy.

Grimer. A sentient pile of sludge. Just draw a blob. Boom, done.

Ditto. Literally, anything you want it to be. Problem solved!

The Unsung Hero

Finally, we arrive at the king (or queen) of easy-to-draw Pokemon: Joltik.

It's tiny. It's fluffy. It's basically a spider with adorable eyes. And only four legs!

Seriously, give it a try. It's surprisingly satisfying. Nobody can resist a Joltik.

The floof can be any shape. Four legs is a lot easier than eight.

Even its electric sparks coming out of its head are very easy. Just draw some squiggly lines coming out of his head.

A Parting Thought

So, there you have it. A list of Pokemon that even the artistically challenged can attempt.

Remember, it's all about having fun. And maybe lowering your expectations a little bit. A lot a bit.
