Record Of Ragnarok Strongest Character

Okay, so we’re talking Record of Ragnarok, right? And, like, the age-old question: who's the strongest character? It's the debate that'll never die! Seriously, you can’t even mention the anime without someone yelling about power scaling. Don't even get me started. eye roll

First off, there's no easy answer. It's all about matchups, power levels (which are kinda wonky in this series anyway), and good ol' fashioned plot armor. But hey, that's half the fun, right?

The Usual Suspects

Let's address the elephants in the room, shall we? Zeus is basically the grandpa of gods, and the dude can stop time. Time. Stop. Like, woah. But is he unbeatable? Hmmm... maybe not.

Then there's Adam, the original human. His Eyes of the Lord? Copying literally any attack? Wildly OP, you gotta admit. If he didn't have that stamina problem... chef's kiss

And who can forget Shiva? Dude brought the heat, literally! His Tandava Karma is terrifying, but he's also kinda reckless, isn't he? Like, chill, my dude!

Okay, and what about Buddha? Future sight? That's pretty sweet. Plus, he’s got a chill vibe going on. Maybe too chill for a serious fight? Nah, he can turn it on when needed. Plus he's on humanity's side! high five

Don't sleep on Thor either! The dude's got a hammer that probably weighs more than my apartment. He’s strong, durable, and kinda scary, tbh. But is brute force enough? We'll see!

It's All About the Matchup, Baby!

Seriously, think about it. Shiva's fire might be useless against someone with ice powers (if there WAS someone with ice powers... cough possibility for future season cough). And Adam's ability to copy attacks? Well, it only works if he can actually see the attack properly, right? There are limitations! And, you know, stamina issues, as we mentioned.

Like, could Zeus beat Adam? Probably, given his time-stopping shenanigans. But could Adam beat Thor if he managed to copy his hammer throw perfectly? Maybe! It’s all about the "if's" and "but's," which makes the whole thing wonderfully frustrating and endlessly debatable.

My Totally Unqualified Opinion

Okay, so if I HAD to pick (and you're forcing me here!), I’d lean towards... drumroll please ... Zeus. Yeah, yeah, I know it's predictable. But stopping time? That's just too broken. But he could be defeated! Who would it be? I am betting on either of the final two fighters, whoever they are.

But honestly, it's not always about raw power, is it? Sometimes it's about strategy, willpower, and a little bit of luck. Like, look at Kojiro Sasaki. He lost a lot but evolved his skills through each loss to win. What a G!

And, of course, the fighters are more than just their strength. It's the reason they fight! The emotions! The drama! This is what makes RoR so great!
