Skate Infinity Episode 12

Okay, so, Sk8 the Infinity Episode 12, right? Can we just… breathe for a sec? I mean, wow. Seriously, wow. Grab your coffee (or tea, I don’t judge!), because we need to unpack this.

First off, the drama. Langa and Reki. Are they… good? Are they not good? The tension was thicker than that awful slime Reki used to try and teach Langa to skate in the beginning. Remember that? Good times, good times... (not really). I was practically screaming at my screen, “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER!” You too? I knew it.

Reki's struggle with his own skating and feeling left behind was so relatable, it actually hurt. I think we've all been there, haven't we? Feeling like we're not good enough, like everyone else is zooming past us while we're stuck in the mud. But did he really have to push Langa away like that? Ouch.

And Langa? Poor sweet oblivious Langa! He's trying, bless his cotton socks. He's so focused on skating and being the best he can be, but he's also totally clueless about Reki’s feelings. Someone needs to give him a "How to be a Good Friend 101" course, stat! Maybe Miya could teach it. He's surprisingly insightful for a kid who always looks like he’s plotting world domination (or at least, dominating the local candy store).

The "S" Showdown!

Then there's the skating itself! The animation was on point as always. Bones really knows how to make those boards fly. The race between Adam and Langa was...intense is an understatement. More like a roller coaster of emotions and near-death experiences. Like, seriously, is Adam trying to kill people out there? Psycho, much?

Langa finally pulling off the Backside 180 Indy Grab (phew, that’s a mouthful!) was such a triumphant moment, wasn't it? But was it enough? Did he finally understand what skating truly meant to him? Hmm...

And Adam...what can we say about Adam? Still creepy. Still obsessed. Still wearing that ridiculous rose get-up. Seriously, who chooses that as their skating outfit? He needs a stylist. Maybe Cherry Blossom could offer some tips? Although, knowing Cherry, he’d probably end up dressing him in something even more outrageous. Just imagine!

The Heart-Wrenching Reunion (Maybe?)

Okay, the big moment: Reki finally showing up at "S" after his mini-meltdown. YES! Cue the tears (mine, mostly). Seeing him there, supporting Langa, even after everything...it was enough to melt even Adam's cold, black heart... probably not, but one can hope, right?

But… that final scene. Langa grabbing Reki's hand and asking him to skate together… as equals? Are you kidding me?! My heart practically exploded. Talk about a cliffhanger! I need answers! I need them now! Will they reconcile? Will they skate together and become the ultimate power couple of "S"? Will Reki finally get over his insecurity? So many questions! So little time!

Honestly, after watching Episode 12, I'm even more invested in Sk8 the Infinity than ever before. It's not just about the skating, it's about friendship, overcoming challenges, and finding your own passion. Plus, the eye candy is a nice bonus, let's be real. Ahem.
